For Our Future Program Updates

For Our Future is the largest independent field operation for the progressive movement in the 2018 election.  We are in seven states: Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin. Board members include: the AFL-CIO, AFSCME, AFT, CWA, NEA, and Next Gen America

Our program supports gubernatorial candidates in six of the seven states, US Senate races in every one of our states, House races in every state, and state legislative races in six of the seven states.  (Virginia is not holding gubernatorial or state legislative elections this year.)

We are working in partnership with both Senate and House Majority PACs, the National Redistricting Committee and the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.

In each state For Our Future engages local partners, as of the end of September we have 40 local partners across the seven states.

The Program

Below, please find For Our Future’s state-by-state field, voter contact, and digital programs for the 2018 general election. For Our Future’s primary investment is in internal and partner canvass programs. As a supplement, we are running digital advertising, mail, and phones to reach voters.

As of October 4, For Our Future and partners have made 4.1 million door attempts and had 556,539 conversations.  By election day our organization and partners will have reached 7,592,035 voters and had 1,109,600 conversations.

Please see state-specific productivity below.

NOTE: Universe sizes will be slightly adjusted between now and Election Day. This is due to people having already voted, model refreshes, and in-state geographic adjustments.
